Nominating for the VR Awards provides brands and individuals with an opportunity to be recognised and celebrated for their outstanding achievements and contribution to Virtual Reality. After your nomination details are submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and follow up before finalists are announced.
How to enter:
Before submitting a nomination please ensure you have viewed your relevant award criteria. On the next page, you will be asked to provide project-specific details based on your chosen awards entry criteria.
You can submit an unreleased product/service during the nomination period providing it is released by the 1st July 2018. Projects must not have been released prior to 6th May 2017. Once you are happy with your nomination, you will be asked to confirm and the entry fee of £89 + VAT will automatically be applied.

What awards can I nominate for?
Providing you are nominating a project that is beyond a concept phase / released by 1st July 2018 and has not been publicly released prior to 6th May 2017, you can nominate for the following categories:
- VR Headset of the Year
- VR Game of the Year
- VR Experience of the Year
- VR Film of the Year
- VR Marketing of the Year
- Rising VR Company of the Year
- Innovative VR Company of the Year
- VR Social Impact Award
- VR Architecture and Real Estate of the Year
- VR Education and training of the Year
- VR Healthcare of the Year
- Out-of-Home VR Entertainment of the Year
What details will I need to provide?
The nominations process is very straightforward. There are five main sections to your nomination; your details, project details, category details, additional materials and payment & confirmation.
You can save your nominations partway through and continue again within 30 days.
Can I nominate on behalf of a client?
Yes. If you are an agency that has either created something on behalf of a client or manage their PR and marketing you can nominate on their behalf. (We do ask that you provide their company details as well)
My product or service has not been released yet, what should I do?
We accept any nominations submitted up until 1st May providing it is consumer ready by the 1st July. We only ask for the initial details to be submitted now to judge whether or not it is suitable for shortlisting.
What happens if I become a finalist?
You will be contacted by the VR Awards team prior to publication, asking to confirm your position as a finalist for the VR Awards. At this point, additional information may be requested from you.
Finalist entrants must attempt to make themselves available to attend the VR Awards in person on the 16th October 2018.
Is there a fee for nominating?
Entry Fee – £89 + VAT
You may enter as many categories as you like, however each entry will be treated as a separate entry and the entry fee must be made for each category which you enter.
If you are a charity, please contact us and you will receive 50% off entry fees.
How is the VR Awards judged?
The VR Awards’ judging process is undertaken by some of the most respected and experienced experts in the Virtual Reality industry.
Every nomination will be judged by our specialist panel on a points-based system. Each nominee is able to progress within their chosen category and the award winner will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Can I nominate for more than one award?
Yes. You can nominate for more than one award.
